For Children

• Dilute 2 drops of “Respiratory Blend” essential oil in 1 Tablespoon of carrier oil (e.g., olive oil, fractionated coconut oil) and massage on their neck and chest.
• Put Oregano, Melaleuca and “Protective Blend” oils on their feet (1 drop of each and apply every 2-3 hours)
• Add 2 drops of “Protective Blend” and 2 drops Lemon essential oil to a teaspoon of raw honey for cold or cough relief medicine for children.
We use “Protective Blend” daily on our family as a preventative measure to give their immune systems extra support.

Coconut Apple Crisp

Coconut Apple Crisp (Grain Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free)


5 Granny Smith apples
Lemon juice to coat apples
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ cup coconut oil
3 tablespoons tapioca starch
2 tablespoons coconut flour
½ cup coconut sugar
1 cup shredded coconut
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spread fruit in a 9 x13 pan, coat apples with lemon juice, then sprinkle spices over apple and toss.
In a small bowl, mix all topping ingredients. Use your hands if necessary to create a crumbly mixture.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until fruit is soft and juices are bubbling and topping is browned and crisp.
Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes and serve warm.

Lentil & Quinoa Chili

Lentil & Quinoa Chili

1 Medium Onion
1 large bell pepper
10 cups of organic chicken broth
5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
4 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp of cumin
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2 cups of Lentil beans
1/2 c of rinsed quinoa
2 (15 oz) of organic diced tomatoes
Salt to taste
1/4-1/2 chopped cilantro
Avocado for topping if desired
Meat or other beans if desired

I chopped and added all ingredients put it in the crock pot and let it cook for about 5 hours on high.
I combined two recipes and this is as close as I got to recreating it. You may need to add additional water if it gets too think. Add cilantro in the end then top with avocado. Enjoy!
